"Americana Grill" was Balboa Street's favorite for the last 20 years serving Vietnamese & Italian food since its opening in 1996.
Tony Lai, the original proprietor, however, wanted to change with time. He made a decision to update the restaurant and welcomed a new executive chef to provide for the neighborhood's needs for something more 2016.

September of 2016, Chef James Moisey, formerly of RickyBobby and Broken Records fame, has joined the team and updated the Americana Grill's menu to his signature American comfort cooking.
